COMING UP:

The time has come… for the last show of the season… It would bring a tear to my eye if it wasn’t for the show this week being completely hilarious! Check it out!

To reserve your tickets for ‘Charley’s Aunt’ by Brandon Thomas from the 13th June- 16th June please email boxoffice@newtheatre.org.uk

The original contemporary British farce comes to The New Theatre…

The imminent arrival of Charley’s Aunt, from Brazil, provides the perfect excuse for Charley and Jack to invite their lady friends Amy and Kitty over for a spiffing good cup of tea. But when her visit is seemingly postponed, they persuade their eccentric friend Lord Fancourt Babberly to impersonate her. And as it turns out he makes a very convincing woman. All is going well, until the real aunt arrives…

Six young lovers, a shrapnel brained soldier, a randy solicitor, a millionaire aunt, a cheeky butler and a man in drag. What could possibly go wrong?

Doors at 7pm! 2pm for the Saturday matinee which is half price for freshers!

And as if the last show of the main stage season wasn’t emotional enough, we have the last show of the Uncut season too, opening on Sunday…

The New Theatre Uncut presents…

THE TEMPEST by William Shakespeare

Prospera, the usurped Duke of Milan, has been exiled for twelve years on a remote island with her daughter, Miranda. When she hears of the king’s fleet, in which sails her usurper, Antonia, she sends her magical spirit, Ariel, to create a mighty storm to wreck the king’s ship on her island. Through her magical arts, Prospera bends the travelers to her will in a bid to regain her place as the rightful Duke of Milan.
